Creation - The Scientifically Intelligent Belief System Part 1

I have heard people mocking creationists on many occasions but when you stop and ask them to give you just one proof of evolution they are usually stumped.    They sometimes hem and haw about there is just so much evidence everywhere so I say great just give me one proof if you are so convinced and yet invariably I am met with nothing.   They believe in the gang mentality approach that because it is the accepted theory there must be all kinds of proof and readily join in mocking people who dont agree yet have not seriously considered both sides of the subject themselves.

I am someone who grew up in the evolution school system.   I had doubts about the Bible account because I knew evolution and the Word of God are two conflicting worldviews.    Since all branches of science state evolution like a fact it caused me to wonder.   How about you?

Many Christians attempt to unite evolution and the Word of God by saying God used evolution to create.   While I try to hide my disgust with the statement, although I dont have much of a poker face, I often attempt to state that this position is completely devoid of knowledge and is simply a copout to ease their conscience.    I understand that my comment may make some people uncomfortable or down right angry but if you stay with me over the coming months as I address some scientific and historical facts and stop for a second to consider them you might just find you are in agreement with me.

There is no scientific evidence for evolution only theories and assumptions (feel free to try to send me some and I will prove you wrong along the way).   Since many people aren't complete evolutionists, only partial ones,   I will start with a number of problems the theory of evolution has and work my way down from the complete evolution theory to the partial one some Christians hold.

Firstly, physical things come from physical things.   Energy changes from one form to another but has to come from somewhere.   The second law of thermo dynamics states that the energy you see in use must have been caused by a greater power then what you see.   Therefore whatever caused the universe to start moving was a greater power then all the power we see in movement.   This principle also states that our universe is in decay and all things therein.   You have to have faith that nothing turned bang into a universe which is scientifically impossible or you have to believe the universe always existed which is scientifically impossible or you have to believe that God always existed.   Neither position rests on science but faith alone.   At least creationists admit theres is a religion. 

Secondly, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that rocks or gases can create life.   All the scientific evidence says this is NOT possible.   There was a study done that had great scientific fanfare that amino acids, the building blocks of life, could be created in a test tube.   Now for the rest of the story.   These amino acids could not create life as they weren't the right type.   Manmade amino acids are never the right type.  Even if the right type were created they would have to undergo an intelligent assembly process and where would the information come from to make this process happen?   Mathematically speaking the odds of a proper assembly happening randomly are so extreme that the answer becomes impossible.   But this still isn't the biggest problem.   These amino acids could not be created in an oxygen atmosphere.   On the other hand life could not be sustained on our planet if there was no oxygen in our atmosphere.   Either way it is not just practically impossible but theoretically impossible.   Scientifically speaking life couldn't have evolved from gas and minerals. 

This takes me back to an old question then, what came first the chicken or the egg?    The answer is - the chicken because the Bible tells me so.   God created mature animals and placed them in the mature world he created.    A world that slowly evolved to be is unscientific for animal life as well as for plant life.

Now someone will say the Bible isn't scientific then either.    Yes it is, but it includes the supernatural acts of God.    A true atheist has to believe in evolution even though it requires a supernatural beginning - a faith that rocks can become life, even though scientifically speaking this is impossible.   A faith in a God being supernatural or rocks having incredible super powers - which faith is more logical?  

More to the point, scientifically speaking in many ways our world is here only because of supernatural causes.

Atheists are radical environmentalists, they worship the created things and not the Creator of things.    Those who start mixing creation and evolution together should reconsider that viewpoint.   Do you really want to support an anti-Christian belief system?

Jeremiah 51:15  "He made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding."   How did Jeremiah know the heavens were stretching out?

Isaiah 45:18  "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else."   Not surprisingly the earth is the ONLY planet even remotely suitable for life.    God talks about no other planet being inhabited but that they were provided for your amazement, your health, your calendar, your seasons, for you to see God.
