This week we have received proof that the science was not in any way settled. That the data the UN relied on was false and corrupted. Deniers were proved correct again when they said the science is in no way settled. That is the simple facts of the matter.

50 years ago the same case was made. The Science has been settled – the Earth is Old. That statement has continually been proven to be ignorant.

Intellectuals mock anything that might challenge that idea and adamant refuse to examine something that is contrarian to an old Earth or even something that requires Intelligent Design. They mock people who believe in a young earth yet intelligent people do believe in a young Earth – Why? Let’s look at some of the facts.

Radiometric Problems

The various testing methods like potassium-argon and rubidium-strontium methods are often in great variance with each other and not just a miniscule 1% difference.  Many tests are done with a bias in advance so they can pick the date that closely resembles the outcome that is desired. Rocks with known young ages have been tested and have been off by a million times or more but we are supposed to assume unknown rock ages are accurate. Blind ignorance anyone?

Index Fossils

Anything buried within the same rock layer with a coelacanth fish was to be considered at least 70 million years old as it was an index fossil. Live coelacanths were then caught and examined. It appears the fish were slightly less than 70 million years old. The real amazing part of the story is the fact that evolutionists taught that this fish had lungs, a large brain, and four bottom fins about to evolve into legs. They reasoned that this fish was the first to fill its lungs with air and begin as land animals. However, today Coelacanths are alive (not extinct for 70 million years) and they live 500-1200 feet below sea level and spend most of their time doing headstands looking for food. Those evolutionist museum people sure must feel stupid – or do they just latch unto another stupid idea and deliver it as if it is fact?

Human Artifacts

Human artifacts have been encased in coal seams and inside deeply buried rock that would be hundreds of millions of years older than man. Something is terribly wrong with the dating system.  However, if you don't agree with the accepted dating systems you are considered a moron.  Odd considering there are known problems.

In all the above examples if you don’t agree with the accepted dating systems you are a moron. Of course they were and are wrong but…. Don’t let the facts get in the way of our theories.

Why do they continue to change assumptions?

Since 1900 the age of the universe has increased regularly until it is now 100 times older then it was in 1900. Why? Even evolutionists would have to admit the theory of evolution would be dead without vast periods of time (even then it only lives on artificial life support). The only position presented in our science textbooks and education systems, is that unimaginable vast periods of time has occurred and rarely if ever do people examine the shaky assumptions and the opposing evidence. Many dating techniques indicate the Earth is young!

Many scientific dating techniques indicate that the earth, solar system and universe are quite young. So lets look at a few of them.

Helium

In 40,000 years all the helium in the atmosphere would be created by the decay of only uranium and thorium. No known media exists for large amounts of helium to escape the atmosphere. The atmosphere appears to be young.

Erosion

27 billions tons of sediments washes out into the oceans each year. At that rate, all the sediment in the oceans would have been deposited in a few hundred million years.

Continents should have eroded and become level in less than 25 million years.

Yet high elevation fossils have escaped erosion for 300 million years. Something is radically wrong with that viewpoint.

Metals

Metals are entering the oceans at very rapid rates compared to the small quantities of these elements already in the oceans. Again there is no known means by which large amounts of these elements can come out of solution. The oceans must be younger than one million years. (ie Gold, copper, nickel, lead, silicon, sodium, etc)

Helium Diffusion

Helium studies of Zircon crystals indicate that the Earth’s crust is less than 10,000 years old.

Volcanic Debris

At the current rate of volcanic ejections the earth’s volcanic sediment should have been created in less than 500 million years – not 4.6 billion years. Yet it is widely acknowledged that the past had much more volcanic activity than today. What happened to most of the sediments???

Magnetic Decay

The steady decay pattern of the earth’s magnetic field over the past 150 years demonstrates that as little as 20,000 years ago the electrical current on Earth would have created too much heat for survival. The Earth could not be older than 20,000 years old.

Young Comets

Comets partially vaporize every time they pass the sun. They also collide with planets and the sun and are expelled from the solar system when passing some planets. However, there is no known mechanism for adding comets to the solar system. This is such a problem for evolutionists they made up the Oort Cloud theory of creating comets but that is solely a theory and not scientific fact. The facts we know, demonstrate that the solar system based on comets is less than 10,000 years old.

A Shrinking Sun

Royal Greenwich and U.S. Naval Observatories have for 170 years noted that the sun is shrinking approximately 5 feet per hour. Older records of eclipses also confirm this shrinking over the past 400 years. Indirect techniques also confirm the Sun is shrinking but at more conservative rates. Using the most conservative data, the Sun’s heat a few hundred million years ago would have destroyed life on Earth.

Of course the other theory is that neutrinos produce all the sun’s heat but if that was the case the Earth would have three times as many neutrinos than scientists have measured. (This likely proves this theory wrong but either measurement requires a dramatically reduced age of the Earth.)

CONCLUSION

This evidence will and should bother many people who have always been told the Earth is billions of years old, especially confirmed evolutionists. The scientific facts should be bothersome. However, this is hardly all the evidence or fields that demonstrate a younger system. Solar winds, the Poynting-Robertson Effect, Galaxy items, Hot planets, Hot moon, the Recession of the Moon, are a few others and that leaves out a great many fields of study.

However, the Earth and Universe does not have to demonstrate a 6,000 year old age to be accurate with the wording of the Bible. When God made the rocks they were 1 day old but they may have had the appearance of a million years by our testing methods even though they were 1 day old. God made a mature world. The evidence does prove that the evolutionist theory of billions of years is problematic and I’ll bet public school science teachers don’t teach your children these science facts along the way.

Accept the facts or attempt to prove them wrong and I believe you will start a journey that will lead you to one question. If evolution science is that corrupt and wrong and the Bible is right then what does God expect of me? That journey will lead you away from selfishness, greed and lust towards responsible, loving behavior, before God and man.
